The Reaton Food seminar held in Kaunas attracted great interest, bringing together a full room of culinary professionals. This time, we focused on autumn meat dishes, different preparation techniques and seasonal side dish combinations.
As autumn draws to a close and gradually gives way to winter, we increasingly crave warm, hearty dishes with rich, comforting flavours. These were the ideas at the heart of our seminar. We introduced participants to meat products and side dishes from the Reaton Food assortment, demonstrating how they can be combined to create seasonal menus.
From Lamb Shank to Veal Liver – Different Flavours and Preparation Techniques
During the seminar, our chef Ingmārs Ladigs prepared a selection of dishes for our guests, including slow-cooked lamb shank, caramelised pork belly, chicken thigh and a veal liver dish.
Each dish was complemented by carefully selected sides, ranging from fresh root vegetables to ready-prepared grain and vegetable mixes from the Reaton Food assortment.
Through these combinations, we aimed to demonstrate how different products can complement one another and how carefully chosen side dishes can create a variety of serving options. Ready-prepared grain and vegetable mixes also help save valuable time in the kitchen while maintaining menu variety and attractive presentation.
A Sweet Finale – Chocolate Desserts
The tasting concluded with desserts presented by our pastry chef, Jānis Večens. Using different types of chocolate from the Reaton Food assortment, he demonstrated how various flavours and textures can be combined to create desserts.
It was a great opportunity for participants not only to taste the desserts but also to discover new ideas they could incorporate into their own restaurant or café menus.
More Than Products – Inspiration for Professional Kitchens
At Reaton Food, we strive to be more than just a food supplier. Our goal is to be a trusted gastronomic partner. By organising these seminars, we aim to give our customers the opportunity to explore our product range, discover new combinations and see practical ways to use our products.
During our seminars, our chefs do more than demonstrate dishes – they share their professional knowledge, cooking techniques and practical advice. We believe that the opportunity to taste, compare, ask questions and observe the cooking process firsthand helps our customers better understand product characteristics and discover new possibilities for their own kitchens.
We are delighted by the great interest in this event and would like to thank everyone who joined us in Kaunas!
Our seminar series continues! Follow Reaton Food for updates and don't miss our upcoming events, where we will continue sharing culinary ideas, product innovations and inspiration for your menus.
