To promote pizzaiolo craftsmanship and develop pizza culture in Latvia, on February 26, the "Latvian Chefs Club" and "Reaton Food" organized the first-ever national pizza baking competition!
Edgars Igaveņš (Vīnkalni) emerged as the winner among 24 top pizza masters and will now travel to Naples, Italy, for the prestigious "Training Vera Pizza" course with the support of Reaton Food!
Winners:
1st place Edgars Igaveņš (Vīnkalni)
2nd place Kārlis Leitis (Stacija Vaivari)
3th place Mykola Kikot (Betterbread) & Jevgeņijs Šarigins (FTD Pizza)
Each participant had to prepare a classic "Pizza Margherita" and showcase their creativity with a "Pizza on the Peel".
