We regularly make sure to bring joy to charity events and fundraising campaigns with delicious surprises, but our involvement goes far beyond just supplying products.

Every year, our team laces up their running shoes to take part in the heartwarming and fun "Ziemassvētku vecīša skrējiens". This athletic tradition is more than just a team-building event - it is an active way to raise donations and ensure that the organization's main program, the “Bērnu Veselības Busiņš”, never considers any kilometer too far to go out and care for children's health.

What is the “Bērnu Veselības Busiņš”, and why is it so important?

In Latvia's regions, it is often difficult and financially burdensome for families to visit highly specialized doctors in a timely manner. The organization „Ronald McDonald Māja Latvijā solves this problem based on the principle: if the children cannot get to the doctor, the doctors go to the children.

The “Bērnu Veselības Busiņš”, is a modernly equipped mobile healthcare center staffed by 18 outstanding doctors from 10 different medical fields - including ophthalmologists, pediatric neurologists, allergists, endocrinologists, and other specialists.

Thanks to this program, more than 5,300 free, top-level medical consultations are provided every year to children under the age of 18, right near their homes. Timely diagnosis and assistance help prevent severe health problems in the future and lift a massive emotional and financial burden off the parents' shoulders.
